video art for a theatre play, The Cameri Theatre, 2 hours play, 2023

I created a video for a play portraying the life of scientist Rosalind Franklin, a chemist who discovered the DNA structure but received no recognition during her lifetime.

The minimalist set featured a transparent rotating cube at the center of the stage, serving as Franklin's laboratory. The cube was covered with a special material that remained transparent unless video was projected onto it. I used the material's transparency intermittently, turning it opaque with video, and controlling which characters were visible.

An additional projector Inside the cube cast dynamic imagery onto the stage and audience. The video production included 3D modeling, animation, video mapping, and visual programming. The play took place in the Cameri Theatre, one of the leading theatres in Israel.
